Using plastic extrusion technology, the FDM process fabricates green components from polymer filaments embedded with 316L particles. Afterward, debinding and sintering transform these into solid 316L stainless steel products. This technique, called fused filament fabrication (FFF), offers substantial reductions in both manufacturing time and expenses versus conventional approaches.
